Meet Mad Goca

The essence of my art is to capture the chaos in my head and translate it into something visual, a language that allows the viewer to peek inside my mind. As i refer to it, its the mess in my head, visualized on canvas.

Thanks to having the opportunity to live in many different countries and meeting people from very diverse cultures, I often catch myself trying to outline core values and characteristics of individuals. And similarly, the places I have been, the people I have met, the moments i have experienced are all the core of my thoughts and creations.

What i have come to over the years is this:
We are all very similar in many ways, and people get stuck in this false hope that being like others will get you somewhere. In my opinion, life is all about the small differences that make us each unique; we must embrace these differences and use them to become the best versions of ourselves.

This can be seen in my work, where very often human aspects are the center of my pieces. Whether its realistic characteristics such as facial features, or perhaps more abstract aspects where paint strokes depict an individual - it often ties down to embracing ones character, individualism and the beauty of being unique - the true self.
